Designed by Pierre Paulin in 1967 and developed for the 1970 Osaka Expo, the Osaka Sofa broke away from the rigid geometry of its era with flowing, organic curves. Today reissued by LaCividina, its modular straight and curved elements can be combined into sculptural seating landscapes embodying an iconic example of Paulin’s vision of furniture as part of the architecture of a space.
